Britney hits the tourist trail as she visits Buckingham Palace with her sons Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11

She's set to storm Brighton for its annual Pride Festival on Saturday.

And Britney Spears took time off from her hectic schedule to take in the historic sights of London with her adorable sons Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11 at Buckingham Palace on Friday.

The iconic pop princess, 36, looked in great spirits as she lapped up the atmosphere in a vibrant yellow sun dress and tan leather boots.

Britney swept up her signature blonde tresses into a high ponytail, with soft tendrils framing her face.

The Piece Of Me singer flashed a beaming smile as she walked hand-in-hand with her youngest Jayden throughout the celebrated walkway.

Britney - who shares her two sons with Kevin Federline, 40 - shielded her eyes from the bright sunlight with classic mirrored aviator shades  and injected some shimmer with a simple silver necklace.

Appearing to have a great time with her sons, Britney accentuated her natural beauty with minimalist make-up as she soaked up the historic scenery.

Jayden and Sean rocked similar ensembles for the day, with both tweens opting for a T-shirt, shorts and sneakers.

Britney made sure to catch a glimpse of all the tourist hot spots, and posed for several snaps outside of Buckingham Palace and the Victoria Memorial.

Britney is set to take the stage at Brighton's Pride on Saturday, which is the first place she will visit as part of her Piece Of Me international tour.

It will be the first time the singer has performed in the UK since her 2011 Femme Fatale tour.

Speaking about the event, Britney shared her elation in a statement that read: 'I’m so excited to be kicking off my UK tour this summer at Brighton Pride! I guarantee it’s going to be a night to remember and can’t wait to sing and dance with all of my LGBTQ fans.'

The star's low-key outing comes after her team reportedly banned any alcohol backstage during her Piece Of Me tour.

According to Page Six, Britney's team has set strict guidelines following Demi Lovato's near-fatal overdose last week.

A source told the publication: 'Britney's team set strict guidelines that no alcohol at all could be served backstage, because they want to keep it away from her, and also many of her dancers are underage.
